  • Angola Cables

Using acoustic prediction and modeling software, the design and execution of acoustic insulation was carried out for two data centers (Monet and Sacs), which operate with fiber optics submerged in the Atlantic Ocean, connecting Fortaleza to Angola and Fortaleza to Miami. With own design and manufacture: we design, supply and install acoustic doors, acoustic attenuators, silencers for generators, including acoustic tips, carrying out all the exhaust ducting for generators enclosed in the external part; we design and execute acoustic barriers and rectangular attenuators to contain condenser noise. • GJP Hotéis

Built especially for the World Cup in Brazil. This is the only hotel in Brazil within the so-called zone 1 of the airport. In this zone, the construction of residential buildings (for sleeping) is not allowed, and the challenge of this project was to perform acoustic insulation that would provide acoustic comfort to users (NBR 10.152) to the detriment of the proximity of the landing and takeoff thresholds of the Galeão’s aircraft runways. The solution should also cover a new building technology so that it could be built in time for the World Cup. Read the article in full
