Nabinger designed and carried out the acoustic insulation and conditioning of the entire new Colégio Farroupilha building, including a sports gym on the top floor above all the classrooms. With advanced expertise in impact noise insulation works, it ensured efficient isolation of all impacts (races, ball games, and gymnastics) for the other floors. The acoustic conditioning and insulation between classrooms and the central air conditioning system guaranteed an excellent word intelligibility index in the classroom environments, helping in the quality of the students’ concentration and to understand what the teacher is saying. Noteworthy is the external mural of the building painted by the international painter Kobra portraying Mário Quintana, a great poet from Rio Grande do Sul.
